About Psyko Boys

Psyko Boys — photographer Fernando Guerrero and makeup artist James Bryan — have a combined expertise in faces and photography that allows them to curate all aspects of a creative concept completely.

Fernando Guerrero began his photography career in 2003 right out of high school, capturing local bands’ live shows in his native Orange County and in Los Angeles. His interest in artists and entertainment was sparked by one of his first jobs, at the House of Blues. Witnessing not just the magic that happens on stage but also what comes before and after a performance has helped him create the insightful portraits of musicians, dancers, and other performers both onstage and off which Psyko Boys is known for. In 2016, he earned his BFA from Brooks Institute.

LA-born makeup artist James Bryan began his career in 1993 behind a department store counter. Besides being the key makeup artist for Psyko Boys, he also collaborates on styling and concept development, bringing a fresh, contemporary perspective to classic looks from punk to disco to old Hollywood glamour.

Together, Psyko Boys have created a signature style that celebrates the sexy, cute, dark, campy, and ironic side of entertainment.
